SOLD $200.00 Sold: Apr 8, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
On auction is a Tonka Cement Mixer. It's Yellow. The paint is excellent! This truck has a little story. M\y neighbors across the street had 3 boys. We used to hang out in the basement. They had a nice pool table. One day one of them asked me to look for something in a back room. I looked and saw this Tonka on the shelve. you had to look for it because the shevles took a weird turn and went back towards the wall. Anyway, years later I askes one of the brothers if they had any Tonkas left and the brother said that his brother took them all. When I told him about this Tonka was in the back room and it was still there! He made me take it! We don't know why it was there, but it was! In 1965 they came in boxes of construction sets. They were put in about 1 in every 12 sets. You could not buy one alone. only in sets. Tonka quit making them because the yellow paint did not match Tonkas paint and they would run in the same spots. They ended their run in 1966.Check photos email questions. Only lower 48 bidders. Good luck! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
