1959 Tonka Land Rover #42 HTF Model State Hi-way Dept Orange Dump Truck Wow!
SOLD $1,404.89 Sold: Dec 22, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
1959 Tonka Hydraulic Land Rover #42 HTF Model State Hi-way Highway Dept Orange Dump Truck Six Wheels Wow! This was in one of the last boxes of stuff at the back of Dad's garage. I never saw it when I was a child, never saw him touch it or talk about it when I was an adult. I have no expertise in this vintage or type of toy. It looks amazing. While it's obviously seen some wear I can believe how vibrant the colors still are and how undamaged it appears to be given its age. The lever to release the rear flap works as intended. The other lever does allow the entire rear section to pop out and start to tilt, but it does not tilt very far before stopping. I am not mechanically inclined so I don't know what if anything needs to be done but I can't see anything that appears to be missing or stopping the action so hopefully it's an easy fix for the next owner. I don't know what else might be important to write up about this beauty, so feel free to ask any questions you may have prior to placing a bid, thanks! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
