There are a few scratches and scrapes and a circle on the top of the cab. The hoist moves up and down as it should, and the grapple opens and closes also as it should.
eBay Up for sale is this fantastic Tonka AAA wrecker/tow truck. I believe this particular truck was made in 1956. This truck has the red boom when most have the black boom. This is a tough to find Tonka truck that will display nicely in any condition. This truck is in very good original condition with some typical play wear. There is no touch up or restoration. Not sure if the hook and chain are original to the truck. The wheels roll well as they should. Overall a great example of this tough to find truck. This listing is for a 1961 Tonka Standard Oil Co wrecker truck. This truck is in excellent original condition - no restoration done to this one. There are some scratches, but no dents or rust. Wheels and axles roll straight; windshields is clear; boom operates smoothly. Includes the original chain and tow hook. Note that the boom assembly was removed and reattached. The left dumbbell light area has some slight damage (as seen in last photo). Custom built 1957 Tonka Sinclair wrecker. Built using a Tonka Suburban Fire Pumper with a few modifications! I cut out a second rear wheel well made made it a tandem axle 10 wheeler. The tow boom and side grab rails are custom built Smith Miller style.

Vintage & Rare 1960 or 1961 Blue Tonka Power Boom Truck, Loader Pressed Steel. All original paint toy. This was definitely a carpet toy. Never spent any time outdoors. Everything works as it should. The only thing not exactly original is the boom cable and claw. I custom re-created the claw by hand to match the originals I found in photos.
